THIS HOW TO USE THE EGG TIMER.
1. Place the timer directly in the pot. Put the egg timer in the pot alongside your eggs before you start boiling. It’s heat-sensitive and designed to sit in the hot water safely.
2. Boil as usual by turning on the heat and let the water come to a boil. As the temperature rises, the color of the egg timer will slowly change from the outer edge inward, showing you three zones: Soft, Medium & Hard.
3. Watch the color change keeping your eye on the timer. Once the color change reaches the mark that matches your preference (e.g., “Soft, Medium or Hard”), remove your eggs immediately for that perfect consistency.
4. Cool the eggs down after removing the eggs, place them in a bowl of cold water or run them under tap water to stop the cooking process. This keeps the texture just right and makes peeling easier.
